IN LOVE with a SINGLE SKIN Miniwing.
The VRILONE is the reason why Vril-Wings exist. The first prototype was scaled up by the RC mini paraglider. This first prototype already showed us the advantages of wider cells, fewer lines and zero ballooning. The first test flights were already so promising that we knew we needed just such a part. However, since there is still no market, or If there were interested parties for Singleskin Miniwings, we only had the opportunity to realize this dream with our own brand. Knowing that the VRILONE is only for an exquisite pilot clique.
Lightness and small pack size
VRILONE small – 12m2 – 1.1 kg weight
VRILONE large – 14m2 – 1.2 kg weight
With 1.1 and 1.2 kg, the VRILONE is one of the lightest paragliders in the world. Not only the extreme lightness but also the ultra-small pack size make it a constant companion. Whether mountaineering, ski touring or even on holiday in hand luggage, the VRILONE opens up the possibility of always having a paraglider with you without being restricted by weight or size.
technical DATA and take-off weight
Both sizes of the VRILONE have a weight range of 45-105 kg.
For pilots who want even more dynamics, we recommend the size 12. The 14ner is a little more subdued with the same payload, so the 14ner is for pilots who want to take it a little easier.
LANDING BOOSTER
The Landing Booster allowed us to improve landing behavior once again. After about 30% of the braking distance, the E, D and C plane of the screen is also braked via a connecting line attached to the trunk brake line. This positioning of the umbrella over a large part of the umbrella area not only improves landing behavior, but also the braking distance is extended and the tearing off of the flow comes much later. Landing can already be well trained during the flight by braking the umbrella from full speed until the C trunk line is pulled and watching the climbing at the vario. Landings with small umbrellas is always a little more demanding, but with hands up until shortly before landing and then deep braking until all BOOSTER levels take effect guarantees a clean landing. With the booster and this technique, landings in Lee situations can still be flamed.
In short: Hands up before landing – then slow down low
