The new Firebird Tandem Main Canopy is a slightly elliptical zero-p canopy, which is outfitted with 1050 lbs vectran lines unless requested otherwise. We recommend vectran lines because they don’t extend as much as dacron or spectra lines, so that trim for flight will be precise for a longer time. While developing this canopy we set a high value on soft openings, low steering pressure, agility and good landings.

Guaranteeing a relaxed flight, the steering force and agility of the Firebird Tandem can almost be compared to those of a solo canopy. It opens very smoothly and with a great stability in direction. The optimal surface-load over the complete weight range and the arrow-shaped basic form show up at their best.
